How many words can a translator translate per day, on average?

• This varies depending on the difficulty of the text and the type of file, but about 2,500 words per day on average.
  
  

I’ve got a big volume to be translated, but a very short deadline.

• We don’t have a problem with this, we can set up a team of translators who specialize in your field and who will be supervised by a Project Manager, responsible for creating a glossary of recurrent terms so as to harmonise the terminology. The translators will work closely with each other and with the Project Manager to provide you with the best possible translation quality.
  
  

Can an English translator who knows French translate a document from English to French ?

• Some unscrupulous agencies give work to translators whose native language is other than the target language, but Tradestar has never done that and will never do that. Although a translator may understand and speak a foreign language perfectly, he or she will never be able to master the nuances of that language, and this will be evident in the translation.
  
  

Can I be sure that my next documents will be translated by the same translator?

• To ensure that the terminology used is the same as that used previously, we will use the same translator.
  
  

I’ve got some documents to be translated, but the content is strictly confidential. What do I do?

• Professional secrecy is observed by all our translators. For additional security, we can confirm this in a document duly signed between your company and Tradestar. We will make the same contract with our translator or translators who is/are responsible for the translation of your text.
